What a great care: this wonderful rescued cat tirelessly helped all cats get better at the vet

The adorable rescue cat now makes an extra effort to aid the other cats’ recovery.

Fergus is a wonderful brown and white cat who was recently treated for a serious spinal injury at the Oaks Veterinary Emergency Clinic in Agoura Hills, California, USA.

The adorable rescue cat now goes above and beyond to help other cats get well when they visit the clinic.

He was paralyzed from the center of his back down. Rachel continued.

Surprisingly, Fergus, or Ferg as we call him, still had feeling in his tail and hind legs after I did some prep work.

Even though I couldn’t use or move them, I felt when I hit them that suggested there was a chance she could walk and use the toilet on her own again.

Although his recovery would be long and difficult, the vet had high hopes for the kitten.

According to her:

“Because Ferg is a Scottish Fold, he must have a suitable Scottish name. In Scotland, where I went to veterinary school, I named him Fergus, which means strong man”.

In veterinary medicine, they focused on the treatment of urinary tract infection, and any success of the cat was good news for the clinic staff. A few weeks later, Fergus was able to stand again.

Like Rachel said.

“I’d like to think our concern played a role, but it didn’t. Fergus was inspired to make a new cat friend”.
