Unfortunately, these babies lost their mother shortly after birth. Caring zoo staff did everything possible to save the cubs, but artificial feeding did not help. The hedgehog needed their mother. Soon they became weaker and weaker.
As a result, they decided to give the kids to Musa, a very caring cat. Luckily, the cat accepted the hedgehogs as her own.
“They didn’t eat on their own”, says Alyona Asnovina, deputy director of the zoo.
Soon the hedgehogs adopted the cat as their mother.
