A unique scene: these wild Siberian tigers befriend German shepherds and became inseparable

This is an incredible bond that has grown between two tigers and three shepherds.

We all know that tigers and dogs are not very friendly from the very beginning, but the story we are about to hear disproves this notion. There are so many interesting ways to start a company. Animals never cease to amaze us, especially when it comes to unusual friends.

This is an unlikely relationship that has developed between two endangered Amur tigers, Suria and Sunny, and three German Shepherds, Blacky, Hugo, and Jenny. They are inhabitants of the Oasis Wildlife Sanctuary in Slovakia, where Amur tigers are protected and peacefully bred.

Since Iveta Irsova created the oasis in 1999, 23 tiger cubs have been born here. There are currently 28 tigers living there, adding to a small genetic pool.

Siberian Tiger Because she was born there along with other cubs, Suria lives in the Oasis. Suria and German Shepherds were born around the same time, and when they were all very young, they first met.

Since then, Sunny, the big cat’s new baby Suria, and the three dogs have been inseparable. They play together all day, sometimes getting quite rowdy, playing fights and eagerly chasing each other.

However, they never harm their friends.

“The dogs are almost the same age as Suria and grew up together. They spend most of their time together,” said Oasis volunteer Martin Ziman. “They are really like brothers and sisters and play together all day long. They never hurt each other”.
