The family was amazed as to why the dog was heading for the backyard.
Meet Bailey. This sweet dog was rescued by Arthur and his family in 2007. Throughout its life, the dog has been used as a “reproductive animal”. She gave birth to litter after litter and did not even enjoy hugging and loving her dogs.
Puppies were taken from her immediately after birth. Now Bailey is already 17 years old, but she has not lost her maternal feeling.
A few months ago, she and her new family moved into a country house. They soon realized that their dog began to frequent the backyard. They were amazed as to why Bailey was heading towards the ravine in the backyard.
“And one day we looked out the window and saw this!” Arthur said to Dodo.
A wild kitten was sitting next to Bailey. The baby felt safe in the company of his new partner. Bailey every time dreamed of becoming a mother for her babies, but she was not allowed to fulfill her mother’s calling.
And now she was taking care of the cat so tenderly. Bailey’s family made the decision not to hurt their dog’s feelings and take the cat home.
“We named the kitten Kitten-Kitten. He follows his new “mom” everywhere. Bailey is unimaginably cheerful and happy about it”, Arthur said.
