Old man could not come up with anything better than decorating his village.
How to save your house and street from destruction?
The authorities wanted to demolish old houses, but the old man decided that this would not be. The 94-year-old Taiwanese could not come up with anything better than decorating his village with various drawings to draw attention to the problem.
Juan Yun-Fu was born in the 1920s. He moved to Taiwan about 40 years ago, he was provided with housing in one of the small villages.
Once local residents were told that their village would be demolished and monetary compensation would be paid. All residents took the money and left.
However, Juan Young Fu was not going to leave his house. At some point, in this village he was left completely alone.
Juan was bored alone. Once, going out into the street, he simply painted the wall of his house. Over time, new ones began to be added to this pattern. The old man and the houses of the deceased neighbors painted.
Someone photographed the painted walls and posted on the Internet.
Huang’s creativity was interested in art connoisseurs and activists who drew attention to the problem of this person.
The flow of tourists in the village has grown incredibly. Activists and students have achieved that the settlement remained, and now it is considered one of the most interesting attractions of Taiwan.
The village was called rainbow, of course, because of its bright and unusual drawings. More than a million people visit him annually.
