Most wild animals avoid humans, and understandably so. However, over the years we have seen incredibly fascinating interactions between wildlife and humans.
This “unforgettable encounter” between the amazingly cute koala and his human neighbors is definitely at the top of the list.
While most wildlife avoid human contact, this adorable koala from the Adelaide Hills in South Australia decided to visit the family home close to its natural habitat.
Luckily, the special meeting was filmed, resulting in some really exciting scenes.
One sunny day, the family was relaxing in the backyard pool when they spotted a koala climbing a tree next to them.
The unexpected guest approached the pool and began to drink water with his paws. He didn’t seem to be bothered by the presence of a woman swimming nearby.
Moreover, when the woman approached him, the cute baby seemed really calm. She even offered the koala some water from her hands, which he gladly accepted.
As if that wasn’t cute enough, the woman steps out of the pool to enjoy a sentimental moment with a cute animal that has visited her.
Watching the two have such an intimate moment, it seems like this koala just came to meet them for a hug and a kiss. And his good intentions were rewarded.
