Therefore, in one of the shelters in Germany, the cat Luna appeared with her kitten Urmel. Both were unwell, but the mother was terribly ill, and the veterinarian gave unsatisfactory prognosis.
The cat’s eyes were swollen and he couldn’t open them. Mother and child were carefully treated, Urmel was allowed to eat from a pipette until Luna was so weak that she could not feed the baby.
As then, they brought to the shelter a crossbred dog Whiskey, extremely affectionate and pleasant. The cat’s mother understood that this would be a wonderful guard for her Urmel.
Whiskey licked and lulled the kitten, and it was truly unimaginable to find a male dog feeding a small kitten.
Anyway, this tale had a happy ending. The specialists still managed to cure mother Luna, and she became a full-fledged mother for her baby.
However, they did not say goodbye to Whiskey and he remained the keeper of the little Urmel. And the funniest thing is that a cat with a kitten and a caring kind-hearted Whiskey ended up in the house of the same caring owner. And this gave outstanding friends a full and joyful life.
