This is great: Jester the K9 survived a dangerous mission and after that he officially retired

Recently, the department prepared a warm farewell ceremony for him.

Jester is a Belgian Malinois who has been with the El Cajon Police Department since 2016. The department recently prepared a warm farewell ceremony for him, which he attended with Officer Randall Gray and Sergeant Mike Murphy.

The dog did many heroic deeds for the department and the people he saved. With 465 building searches, 121 high-risk stops, 45 drug searches, and 197 arrests, Jester made a big record.

However, the path of the dog was not so smooth, because his work was too dangerous. Jester was stabbed in the throat and taken to a specialized pet hospital.

Think about where he got the treatment he needed. Three weeks later, the dog was ready to return to work. The officers said they would miss their devoted companion very much.
