Two dogs of this couple immediately fell in love with a homeless kitten.
Zach Hearn and his partner thought their family was complete until that day, their two dogs fell in love with a stray kitten. A saving encounter for this pitiful creature.
Tang and Cream are the joy of their owners, Zach Hearn and his girlfriend. Friends who are happy together did not expect a fifth assistant to appear in their group.
While walking in early April, a female golden retriever and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel suddenly stopped and looked intrigued. “The meow could be heard a little further away, so they ran to investigate”, Zach told The Dodo.
On that day, female dogs unearthed a tiny ball of wool from about 4 weeks ago. Dirty, skinny and lonely kitten desperately needed help. The man was afraid that his four-legged comrades would chase after him, but they behaved differently.
Zach was stunned to find his dogs comforting a frightened little cat (which turned out to be a female). “Tang began to moan and lay down next to her,” explained the witness of this touching scene, “Cream began to lick and clean her”.
Zach knew he couldn’t leave the cat alone, so he picked her up and carried her home. The survivor was treated to a good bath as well as delicious food. Zach and his girlfriend have also prepared a cozy nest for her so that she can rest in peace.
“We decided to name her Tou Jiang, which means Jackpot”, the couple said. “At first she didn’t have much energy and she slept a lot. But after being fed regularly and given a warm place to sleep, she revived”.
