Brad Pitt purchased several estates in Los Feliz, Los Angeles, back in 1994 to increase the size of his homes. He lives in the Hollywood Hills. He got his place from actress Cassandra Peterson.
The actress opened up about the actor’s generosity as she revealed that the home once belonged to a man who was 90 years old at the time and suffered the loss of his wife. Pitt became friends with him and invited him to his house to live rent-free until he would pass away.
She recalled that the actor let the man stay at the place after his wife passed. He lived to be 105 years old and lived at the house without paying any rent. Cassandra was Pitt’s neighbor for some time before she decided to sell the house to him and says that he was very sweet to her and was a good neighbor.
She later revealed that when she saw the actor without a shirt for the first time when he was getting ready for the movie “Fight Club”, she nearly passed out. Cassandra says that she still hears him saying “Hello, how are you?” and she could think to herself “Huh?”, she couldn’t even speak as she thought that he is very attractive and at the same time very sweet.
Before getting a divorce in 2016, he lived with Angelina Jolie and their kids. After getting the divorce he lived there alone before he sold it for $39 million. He paid for the house $1.7 million so it was a good deal.
According to his friends, the actor sold the house as he wanted to move to a quiet place. He now has a $40 million house in Carmel, Northern California.
