The kitten was not the most welcome guest at Jelly’s Place in San Pablo, California.
When visitors passed by or approached the cat’s cage, he hissed and huddled into the corner with his whole body.
A cat that was found homeless had no chance of finding a home.
Kendall Benken, an experienced wild kitten charmer at the shelter, was contacted.
Benken has perfected the ability to tame even the most ferocious kittens. Her rescue dogs and cats are able to calm even the most frightened animals.
She ran to the shelter to check on the cats.
After a few minutes, Benken concluded that the 5-week-old Siamese was not threatened, but rather frightened.
“No one could approach her”. Benken explained. ”She was upset.” “She was a little demon,” the narrator continues.
Wrapping the unfortunate kitten in a towel and gently rocking her was the only way to hand her over. Benken swaddled the cat carefully, put it in a container and took it home.
The kitten was not happy with this arrangement, and when she got to Benken, she was still frowning. Benken named her Betty because he was sure she would win.
