A giant shark jumps and twists into the air.
After Steven Spielbergâs Jaws movie, many now regard sharks, along with bears, gorillas, and rhinos, as one of the few creatures that are just pure evil. Just look at them; these are whole units that already produce magic.
Well, sharks just got more awesome! Recent pictures show the large shark getting fresh air, or 15 feet of it, as it rises from the water.
Chris Fellows photographed Seal Island in South Africa for Discovery Channelâs Shark Week. The channel had recruited shark photographers as part of a program to capture the greatest images of sharks.
Many people have used drone technology to record violations. But the pictures Chris took with cameras in tow suddenly caught everyoneâs attention.
They say a picture is worth a thousand words. However, that picture speaks a thousand words. It was absolutely amazing. It was extremely high. Fallows said: âThis has got to be the best air jaws breach ever.ââ
Fallows and other teams had been at sea for three months chasing such a moment when the spectacular image emerged. He spent âliterally thousands of hoursâ waiting to recreate the photo, lying on his stomach with the camera in his hands.
He and his team waited for days, and sometimes he worried heâd lost his camera in the water. Their efforts paid off when this shark showed up and jumped like a real person.
âThe shark jumped out of the sea. It looks like heâs trying to tear his leg apart when he is in the air,â Fallows says.
