He was discovered with wounds, and his body was covered in filth and flies.
The unfortunate puppy was chained to a post and was unable to move at all.
This lovely creature had reportedly been treated quite cruelly by someone.
Looking at him, Nikki realized he was soon to pass away.

The dog had a microchip, according to the PSPCA, and it was clear that it had been used as a bait dog for dog fighters.
He had undergone a difficult rehabilitation procedure and surgery, but now his condition was finally improving.
