The box of red berries seemed to capture the interest of the 10 year old kitten.
One day, mother cat Carly was surprised to find that her little fluffy kitten showed great interest in her purchases when she returned from the store. She immediately deduced that Rebus was attracted to a bunch of strawberries calling out their siren song.
For some reason, the box of delicious red berries seemed to completely capture the interest of the 10-year-old kitten. Since Carly wasn’t sure strawberries were safe for cats, she put the bag somewhere else and then called her sister, the vet.
According to Carly’s sister, Rebus was allowed to play with strawberries, so Carly returned the box. When Rebus received a box of strawberries, he was delighted.
It wasn’t that Kitty suddenly had a craving for something sweet and delicious, because he didn’t seem to want to eat berries.
He liked to just hit them, tossing them around like toys. He plays and bumps into them all day long.
He hugs them close and falls asleep with them when he is out of breath. While using a bouquet of strawberries as a security blanket may seem odd, there may be a good reason for this.
