«Thumbelina really exists»: this is how the smallest woman looks and how she lives

Doctors were surprised by the birth of the little girl.

Jyoti Amge, an Indian citizen of about 62 centimeters, is the shortest woman in the world. In its size, it is comparable to a three-month-old child.

Because of her height, she got into the Guinness Book of Records twice: the first time in 2011, when she was a teenager, and once in 2014, when she was an adult.

Ranjana, her mother, first felt bad during pregnancy.

Once, the doctors informed her that her child had died intrauterine, but she did not believe them.

She received several proposals to terminate the pregnancy. In the eleventh month of pregnancy, Ranjana eventually made a cesarean section.

The doctors were shocked by the birth of little Jyoti.

The child did not have any deviations in development at all.

However, it became quite obvious that Jyoti stopped developing about three years later.

In fact, she had achondroplasia, a condition that damages the skeleton of a person. It is impossible to cure.

A small child attended school with all his peers on an equal footing.

But a little woman, in addition to short stature, has other serious problems. Due to chronic calcium deficiency, its bone is very fragile and does not grow together.

Jyoti needed special tires, as she had fractures. However, she, along with her parents, refused the operation. She is special in that her body does not withstand the operation.

Jyoti retains optimism, albeit unhealthy. She goes to the television show.
