Maxine Baird adopted and raised over 200 raccoons, Maxine had some concerns about the small animal’s aggressive behavior.
An officer told her that the rescued raccoon was aggressive.
There was only one raccoon fence in their sanctuary, where another raccoon already lived, so Maxine was worried about how they could get along if he was so aggressive.
She decided to hide out for just a few days.
The poor thing was not aggressive.
The next day, despite all the misgivings about the behavior of the raccoon, Maxine still entered his cage.
But nothing bad happened.
The small creature approached the kind woman, put little hand into hers.
It was surprising because he had never met anyone before. Maxine’s heart melted, it was so touching.
The gentle, beautiful raccoon seemed to be enjoying his wonderful new life thanks to Maxine’s incredible kindness.
