The 15-year-old stallion, nicknamed, Dr. Peyo, together with his master, spent several years, competing and playing knightly tournaments. Over the past four years, they facilitate the suffering of patients with a palliative center in France.
The stallion is actually the name of Peyo, but he deserves the honorary prefix «Doctor». Medical staff proudly calls him a member of the medical team.
Hassan Bashakur, a horse trainer, said that her unique abilities were manifested during their active performances.
Peyo approached people, each time choosing someone physically ill or mentally unbalanced. Each time he just stood and showed his care, touched a man with his nose, and allowed himself to touch.
In his presence, people relaxed and began to smile. Hassan turned to zoologists who were interested in the unusual behavior of the horse.
For several years, they tracked the data about the people that Peyo addressed and came to the conclusion that the horse was never mistaken in their choice.
The staff also confirmed that those who visit an unusual doctor require significantly smaller doses of potent drugs.
Over the years of observation, scientists have not found out how the stallion determines whom to approach. Hassan explained that he and the horse go along the corridor, and if Peyo made a choice, he raises his front leg high, as if indicating the direction.
In the center, there are several patients, whom Peyo visits regularly, and with the most difficulty, it can spend more than one hour. I must say that this wonderful pair of fingering is for employees.
Doctors say that sometimes the work is especially difficult psychologically, and the wonderful Peyo always knows who needs to be comforted.
Over the years, the doctor visited unusual, up to a thousand patients, he supported others until the last breath. Hassan Bashakur admits that the best friend, without whom he does not represent his life.
