Real artists can combine 2 and more different items and have magnificent result.
At first sight it is difficult to distinguish the material which Elisa Strozyk’s works are made from. One may think that these are rugs or blankets with original prints. Some may think that they are fragments of wooden parquet. But all of them are correct as in these works textile and wooden are combined.
The artist made this as a diploma work for getting master degree. As the main material wood was chosen. She took it from the woodworking workshop near to her university. She cut wood in triangles with laser then sticked them on the fabric.
This project which is called “wooden fabric” is unique as it represents both the fabric and parquet. It makes fabulous impression. As some experts mention her works pave the way for development of the textile industry.
Her works were exhibited in different countries.
