Once, an interesting story happened near Lake Baikal. The workers noticed a baby seal on the shore. This creature did not even move and seemed to feel bad.

The baby was immediately taken to the station where he received care and attention. There was a dog named Nika and it seems the dog thought that this animal is a puppy and she began to lick him.

Nika gave him her great love and affection. And after that, the seal began to recover and already felt better.

The seal was named Umka and fed on fish. Since the seal eats only in water, the workers organized a bath for him.

All this time the dog didn’t even leave the seal for a minute. During the day the seal was left on the rocks so that he could bask in the sun and then they put him in a bath for feeding.

When the seal was released into the lake, he immediately swam 500 m and then returned again back to the dog. It even happened again the next day.

But after that the next day the seal swam away and did not return. The dog was a little sad but then he began to take care of the domestic goats. We are sure that they received the same warmth and love from the dog as this seal.
