The Hole-Loving Alabama Bulldog: Franklin’s Quirky Obsession and Unconditional Participation in Family Activities!

An Alabama bulldog enjoys lying in holes.đŸ€—đŸ€—

Caitlin and her partner Grant began digging a drainage ditch for their home because they felt it would be the perfect size for the water to run off.

Franklin, their weird bulldog, thought it was perfect for him s well.

According to Caitlin, who spoke to The Dodo, Franklin simply climbed down into a 20-foot hole that Grant was digging and laying down. He just kept burying himself, and whenever someone picked him up, he immediately jumped back up.

Caitlin has been working at home with Franklin since he was adopted in 2020. The energetic dog loves his family and constantly strives to take part in all activities, especially if they are digging holes.

The Alabama bulldog enjoys hanging out on the porch swing and taking pottery classes with Caitlin. That is unless he is busy using his network of bulldog-sized tunnels to get to distant places.

”He’s the funniest, prettiest little wad of fur,” Caitlin remarked. His personality is amazing. Caitlin and Grant have dug many new holes since the trench was created, mostly for Franklin, but also for gardens and plants.

Maybe Franklin likes to hide in a cool hole. It almost seems to blend into the ground, which may be why it prefers this hidden vantage point. Maybe he likes to see himself as a beautiful gardenia that has just been planted. Caitlin believes that Franklin’s main goal is simply to participate so that he has a special place. His favorite place is any place where his family is.
