The extraordinary cat saved the mistress from breast cancer, showing unusual behavior

The woman admitted that a few years ago her cat began to behave strangely.

A resident of Newcastle Angela Tinning said that she had discovered early breast cancer thanks to her cat. This was reported by Metro.

The woman admitted that a few years ago her cat Missy began to behave strangely: as soon as the owner was lying, she jumped on her chest. «My cat is not very affectionate and rather irritable, so this behavior was very atypical for her», Tinning explained.

She listened to the sensations, felt pain in her chest, and turned to the doctors. Waste cells were found in its tissues and surgery was to remove them.

Two years later, Missy began to behave in the same way. This time Tinning was not hurt, but she still decided to conduct a thorough examination.

The biopsy showed that a woman developed breast cancer at an early stage, and she had to undergo a mastectomy, an operation to remove the mammary glands.

Doctors admitted that if Tinning had not insisted on the examination, the disease could go unnoticed for several more months.

«Nothing damaged me. But she jumped on my chest, and for me, it was a signal. If I waited, the tumor would have grown a lot. If not for missies, I would have died a long time ago», Tinning said.

She nominated her pet for the title of Cat Hero in the Cat of the Year contest from the British charity organization Cats Protection. Tinning also participates in the raised funds for women with breast cancer.
