The cute kitten and her sister, who were left alone in the yard, finally found the key to happiness

Newborn babies risked dying, left to fend for themselves in the garden.

A resident of California (USA) at the beginning of this year found a litter of kittens in her garden. Their mother never came back to take care of them. A volunteer from the association Wrenn Rescues cared for the starving and frozen newborns.

One of the babies had only 3 legs.

A woman with a big heart took in three kittens abandoned by her mother.

Newborn babies risked dying, left to fend for themselves in the garden. To provide them with the best possible care, this heavenly angel contacted Erin, a volunteer at Wrenn Rescues, an animal shelter located in southern California.

A kind soul, accustomed to taking care of cats in trouble, created a foster family. Tiny fluffy lumps were placed in an incubator and pampered around the clock.

Despite all the attention that was given, one of the kittens, named Pancake, lost the battle a few days after arriving. The two survivors, Waffle and Toast, clung with all their might to the help of their benefactor.

Gradually 2 kittens began to gain weight and regain energy. However, Waffle, a black and white cat, was born without one leg.

One could believe that this shortcoming hindered him on the path of life. On the contrary, Waffle showed courage and determination.

Despite his stump, the young cat ventured into his new environment. She even insisted on being fed first! Waffle savored every sip of the mixture and felt happy with a full stomach.

As for her sister Toast, she quickly earned the title of Miss Diva, according to Lovemeow. “She’s stubborn, loud and not afraid to speak her mind”, Erin said. “She wants everyone’s attention”.
