The dog didn’t eat the food provided for him right away and the fact remains that the woman meant no harm to the dog and wanted to earn his trust.
In the pursuit of food, the dog eventually fell into the rescuer’s trap and was taken to a more secure place.
They discovered that the dog belonged to someone and has been absent from home for some time already.
