Senior horse was unable to stand due to weakness and helplessness, but after being rescued by a caring woman

Weak and helpless horse

A small act of kindness could mean the world to someone who is in desperate need of help.

That is the tale of Arthur, a senior donkey who had been abandoned and was only saved in time to have a second chance at life.

Sadly, the 30-year-old Belgian draft had worked on a New England farm as a workhorse for the entirety of his life.

Unfortunately, his harsh master decided he was no longer needed and soon after turning 30, he left the loyal creature to his fate.

This is how Arthur managed to switch between dealerships.

It was a trying period for the aged horse, but thankfully he found comfort in another abandoned animal, Max, who was located nearby.

They worked together to overcome all of their challenges.

Fortunately for these two miserable creatures, their suffering abruptly ended one day.

They were shielded by a compassionate woman who moved forward.

The two partners were found online by Cindy Daigre, who founded Tennessee’s Ferrell Hollow Farm Executive Horse Refuge.

When Cindy got involved, they were all in a terrible situation and prepared to be taken home by car.

After suffering emotionally and physically for weeks, these two horses were afraid and confused.

Bunt, once they were in the shelter, things began to improve, and they continued to do so every day.

When she introduced them, Cindy made a promise to herself to assist in getting them back up and running.
