Selena Gomez gave an interview to Rolling Stone magazine, giving the publication a rare opportunity to speak candidly with the singer.

Selena Gomez discussed the implications of her health problems, saying that she won’t be able to conceive.

She talked about her bipolar disorder for the first time. Selena said that during periods of acute symptoms, she often struggled with thoughts of committing suicide, which is why she sought treatment at specialized centers four times.

In the darkest moments of her life, Selena believed that the world would be a better place without her.

Selena admitted that during her manic phases she decided to buy cars for all her friends, then she fell into depression. She hardly could overcome that part of her life.

Selena has dealt with numerous challenges throughout her life, including bipolar disorder, lupus, and a kidney transplant surgery.

Due to her condition, Selena takes a significant amount of medication. She mentioned that two of these medications, which are psychotropic in nature, could interfere with her ability to have children naturally.

However, Selena has expressed her deep desire to have children and confirmed that she intends to do so in the future.
