Cameron Diaz, who was a superstar in the 90s and many filmmakers dreamed of working with her, left her acting career in 2015. She made this decision for the sake of her family with Benji Madden. Since then, she changed her behavior accordingly.
She introduced her new perception of herself on the new podcast.
“I admit being an object of exploitation, as many women are in our society. I purchased so many things just to fit in today’s beauty standards. I glanced in the mirror and compared myself to others every time. Furthermore, I can tell you that I stopped doing so only in the last 8 years”, said Cameron.
Now she pays less attention to today’s beauty standards, and she likes herself as she is.
“Now I don’t care at all, my appearance comes last. I just don’t care.”
She insists on not having done anything to keep herself looking young.
Cameron says she even doesn’t wash her face.
Cameron states that she doesn’t use those tones of cleansers and moisturizers on the bathroom shelves. She is now a different person with different interests.
