Battersea Dogs & Cats welcomed Luke Home as a tray over 7 months ago. As compared to the average dog, they are adopted after 35 days. Although Luke is a sweet dog, but shy, especially around other dogs. That’s probably why he needs so much time to find the perfect family.
” Luke is a big dog, who loves to snuggle up to the radiator with his favorite people and a soft toy,” said Battersea manager Michelle Bevan.
”We hope someone will like him as he truly is and give him the chance to take care of him the way he deserves.”
This shelter mate decided to organize a Valentine’s Day party for him in order to be adopted. They hoped that the celebration could attract people’s interest and make them ask about Luke. They gathered some ornaments, decorated Luke, and hoped for the best.
Unfortunately, the plan fell through, and no one showed up for Luke’s party.
Everyone says that despite his shyness, he is a wonderful family dog. He just needs to find a perfect family for him. Although no one has come to his party, his shelter’s staff are not surrendering. They intend to somehow help Luke get a forever home.
Luke needs a quiet home away from busy areas. He also needs a family that can help her deal with his skin problems, and he would like to be the only dog in the family. Other than that, this cautious dog just needs a family to take him in.
