The Met Gala was devoted to famous fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld, who died in 2019, and many celebrities, including Nicole Kidman, wore Chanel to honor the couturier.
Kidman, who posed for photographers in a pale pink dress embellished with rhinestones and ostrich feathers, was among the celebrities who looked dressed like brides that evening. However, the actress was spotlighted by wearing a dress she already wore 19 years ago for a Chanel No. 5 commercial.
Kidman completed the dress with loose hair tied with a black ribbon, matching sandals, and chunky earrings. Her husband Keith Urban was also classically dressed in a black tailcoat and white shirt.
After the event, Kidman expressed her respect towards memories with Lagerfeld and fans admired her look as she was looking like a fairy tale in her ”magical outfit”.
