Every day hungry dogs get free food from the Gerardo restaurant.
Gerardo Ortiz’s restaurant, Ajilalo in Peru, has received a very special and somewhat unusual client over the past five years. A stray dog roamed the streets, deciding to keep at the entrance to the restaurant, with a touching look that showed that he was very hungry. Even though Gerardo could have easily turned down a stray dog, he instead offered the weary dog a delicious free meal made especially for him. Since then, the man began an adoring tradition that continues to this day. The next day, the hungry dog gets a free meal from Gerardo’s restaurant.
But it wasn’t long before the man’s kindness and generosity became known to many of the city’s other stray dogs. New dogs began to arrive, and, of course, Gerardo welcomed them with delicious food. The owner of the restaurant prepares free dog food.
Gerardo and his restaurant are currently visited by many stray dogs, some of whom are regulars and others are passers-by. Of course, they all have one thing in common: they want to be able to satisfy their hunger thanks to the delicious food that a kind-hearted person provides.
