This smart cat helped a lost hikerđ€
A man in Gimmelwald, Switzerland, lost his direction while hiking in the Alps and fortunately, he met a cat who helped him.
Reddit user sc4s2cg revealed that the town is small, however, he got disoriented in the mountains. He continued by saying that he arrived in Lauterbrunnen at the end of a ski season due to which some places were closed.
He followed ski lifts on the mountain and after reaching the summit, his journey took to him a deserted town where he was on his own for the first time.
He revealed that he looked on his map to find a way to his hostel, however, the only official way down was down a trail that had been closed and that is when he met the cat.
The cat came up to him when he was taking a break to rest from his sprained ankle and have lunch.
He revealed that when he woke up the cat started leading him down. The man says the cat was nice even though he was a complete stranger to it and also added that the cat must be used by many tourists in the area.
And he also added that this was the only cat he came across during his journey.
He said that the cat was strolling and wanted to see if he wants to join and then led him to the trail back to the valley.
The man videotaped his journey and shared it online for others to see.
