A two-year-old boy named Sam loves kittens. But he does not just consider them soft live toys, like most young children, but takes care of them very seriously. Sam can even be entrusted to feed kittens from the bottle.
It all started six months ago when Sam Lacy’s mother took small kittens from the shelter to temporarily take care of them. Lacy and Sam live in California and help kittens from the shelter.
«This turned out to be one of the best ideas in my life», Lacy admits.
Her little son Sam was very delighted with the appearance of kittens in the house. His eyes lit up with interest when he examined them and probably tried to understand what it was, which was like his great red cat, only very small.
At first, Lacy did not allow Sam to keep the kittens, fearing that he could accidentally harm them, but Sam was unexpectedly tender. While Lacy was holding a kitten, the boy gently stroked him with a little finger.
From this day, communication with kittens has become regular for Lacy and Sam regular. Sam welcomes kittens, calls them cute and charming, and carefully and gently strokes them. He says: «They love me, and I love them».
