Judith Nwokocha gave birth to twins of different skin colors. Seeing that her kids are not just different, but differ from each other day and night, the mother of Nigerian origin was shocked. But she could not argue with the whims of genetics.
The young mother shared photographs of Kaci’s daughter and son Kamsi on social networks, and the Gemini immediately made a splash on the Internet, becoming one of the most famous twins.
As Judith recalls when she was given such different babies in the hospital and said that both of her, she first thought that it was either a mistake or a draw.
«I thought they gave me the wrong child. As for my son, of course, I did not doubt it, because his skin color is the same as mine, but at first, I took my daughter for someone else’s baby and waited for the nurse to enter the ward, apologize for the mistake and brings me «my» daughter-the one with brown skin».
Finally, the mother realized that the little white girl was actually her own child.
«When I took her in my arms, I experienced such love, and this feeling was as strong as my love for my son. And when the kids after childbirth were put on my chest, the feeling of tenderness for both of them was also the same», says my mother.
At first, a dark-skinned woman was bothered by how society would react to her children.
However, Judith admits that there were several cases when they mocked her daughter-albinos.
«And yet the love that my son and daughter received from others is much more than hatred from those few people. And I constantly remind Kaci, how beautiful and unique she is so that she does not feel «wrong».
«They often ask me why they are not like each other, and I answer them that God created them so different because he decided so», says Judith.
According to his mother, the son of Kamsi cares deeply about his unusual sister. They are good friends not only at home and in the yard but also in school.
By the way, in addition to different skin colors, her son and daughter are distinguished by temperament. So, according to Judith, Kamsi is a very calm and self-sufficient boy, and Kaci does not like loneliness and is very sociable.
According to her mother, due to the fact the daughter of an albino, her skin is very delicate and sensitive, including solar burns. But this is not a problem in Canada, where the sun is not as scorching as in Africa.
Genetics is a surprising thing. The brothers may have different skin colors, while mothers and daughters or fathers and sons are sometimes born surprisingly similar. Examples of this can be found in any country, in any city.
