This TikTok user believed she’d found a rather unique bargain.
Pay attention, thrifty buyers! If you see something fluffy in a vintage store in New York, think twice before buying it.
TikTok user @thethriftymama thought she found a special offer the other day while browsing a thrift store in New York.
On one of the shelves in the shop was an antique fur hat in surprisingly good condition considering it was from the 1950s.
However, this “cap” turned out to be something much more surprising.
TikToker @thethriftymama was browsing a Manhattan store when she spotted orange fur on a clothes rack.
He quickly reached out to grab the odd object, thinking it was an old fur hat from the 1950s, but there was a small pitfall. It wasn’t even a hat.
In fact, there was an orange cat that was alive and well.
She said: “I swear my heart jumped in my throat”.
When she realized that the cat was not a hat, she discovered that it was a store occupant.
A quick search of Instagram and Google reviews turned up a bunch of photos of orange kittens.
