The smallest dwarf horse does not care that he is shorter.đ„șđ„°
Munchie stands out among the horses at the Texas shelter Habitat for Horses. A horse there is usually 5 to 6 feet tall. In contrast, the Munchie is only 21 inches (less than 2 feet) off the ground.
However, Munchie’s confidence hasn’t been affected by his size.
According to Amber Barnes, adoption, and media consultant for Habitat for Horses, ”he doesn’t seem to see how big other horses are.” He just seems to say. âSo, what are you big? Whatever it is.’
Munchie lived in neglect on a San Antonio property before moving into Habitat for Horses 11 years ago.
According to Barnes, he was about two months old when we rescued him. He brought a family of small horses as well as some larger horses. In San Antonio, there was an extremely violent seizure. There were so many dead horses on the farm when we got there. it is a tragic situation.
Most of the animals, including Munchie and his mother, Melanie, a miniature horse, were seized by police and are currently at Habitat for Horses.
Because Barnes said he was so small, he was driven in the front seat of a truck on someone’s lap. He was quite a bit in the way of a small dog in your arms.
Because of this, there are structural differences. And that often leads to health problems,” Barnes added. It can even be fatal.
Fortunately, Munchie is in pretty good health, despite the fact that he has a spotty and twisted ”hollow” back. Barnes remarked. âIt’s actually really sweet when he looks at you and licks his lipsââ.
