It is about a small albino elephant, which was lucky enough to get photographed.
They say that for every 10,000 newborn mammals on the planet, one albino is born. Albinism is a fairly rare disease among animals, and any similar case is usually well-known to scientists and is carefully documented.
But it still happens that small albinos appear, about which a person does not yet know anything, since these babies regularly hide in his own herd.
This is a story about a small elephant albino, who was lucky enough to be photographed traveler by Nicky Koerts during his African safari tour. Removing the surrounding nature, Nicky noticed a herd of elephants.
Looking closely, he saw something amazing and special. It was a small pink elephant, an absolute Albino, whom a man had never seen in his life.
It is well known that in certain cases, our smaller brothers do not accept just born cubs-albinos, killing them or expelling them from the herd. But, looking at these photos, we can assume that this pink elephant lives in care and love.
This disease is extremely rare in African elephants, but there are still cases. An interesting fact is that in animals, unlike us, albinism is inherited.
Who knows what difficulties this baby will have to face in the future because of his unnatural color? One thing is that this pink elephant lives on the territory of the protected area, which means that it is completely protected from poachers.
