A package full of adorable puppies
Can you picture yourself saving an animal on your journey one day?
Paige Rico was having fun passing through Utah on her way from California. She paused to take in the view of a beautiful Utah desert.
On a summer day with a temperature of 110 degrees, she saw a box while out for a walk.
She approached it and saw three tiny puppies inside.
Fortunately, they were still alive, but in that hot temperature, they would not have survived.
The woman took them to the veterinarian right away. The three were undernourished and dehydrated, they discovered after closer scrutiny.
The veterinarian offered to take the three of them to the closest shelter because they were all in good condition.
She made the decision to take on the burden of finding them permanent homes.
She brought them inside. The task of caring for the three puppies was not simple.
They played and moved about a lot. The two pups that were the busiest she was able to place in forever homes.
Paige felt a stronger connection to the shy puppy and decided to take the little canine in as her own.
They are now enjoying their time together by traveling.
They traveled to the location where the three of them had been located. It was quite sentimental.
