A resident of New York decided to talk a walk with her dog in December and during their walk, they found a box. As the dog got closer to the box, they noticed a little ginger cat inside it. She immediately took the cat to the vet. They were surprised at how quickly the animal adjusted to her surroundings.
Lisa Winters, the director of Little Wanderers NYC, revealed that the cat despite the fact that she was terrified, was very sociable.
The cat had a limb trauma, however, besides that, after all the medical examinations, he was determined to be fully healthy. He was given the name Elf.
Winters thought that the cat already had a family because of the fact of how quickly he adjusted to his surroundings.
After a few weeks, Elf was adopted by Miri and Eleazar and they decided to call him Elf Sunkist, after the vibrant orange soda which was nearly identical to the color of his fur.
