Recently, a guy approached a volunteer at Detroit Animal Care and Control and claimed that he wanted to turn over several canines. The volunteer arrived for her shift at the facility before it opened for the day and she asked him to wait outside, while she did some paperwork, but when she returned, the man was already gone. She searched the area and discovered two puppies shaking behind a fence.
A spokesman told The Dodo that the dogs were huddled together and were âabsolutely terrifiedâ.
Meanwhile, the group from Animal Control searched the area to see whether the guy had left other puppies in the surroundings.
After making sure that there were no other puppies in the area left by that guy, the staff brought the two dogs inside and gave them food and water and after that, the dogs started to explore the area that they were brought in.
The spokesman said that the dogs are now doing much better and are playing with toys.
The brown puppy, who was given the name Zeus, has already found a family. Meanwhile, the second puppy who was named Spongebob is still looking for a family.
These pups now know that they are in a loving and caring environment.
