The way the raccoon posed in the photo made everyone laugh.
A few days ago, firefighters in Dalton, Georgia, received a call to rescue an animal. Although it wasn’t the first time they’d rescued an animal, they were surprised to learn that the poor thing in need was a raccoon.
”You have no idea what’s in store for you the day you become a firefighter,” the Dalton Fire Department wrote on Facebook.
Firefighters could not even imagine that the photo could go viral for a rather unexpected reason. Shortly after rescuing the animal, they took several photos.
One of the photos below shows how the raccoon was ashamed of what he had done.
It made a day for many people who couldn’t stop sharing the photo on social media.
No one can judge him, presumably he sneaked into the house to steal food.
Staff hope the animal has learned its lesson and will be less adventurous when looking for snacks.
