This shelter dog’s life turned for the better when she found a new home.❤️🐶
A dog named Coco has been going from family to family and has finally found its permanent home but could never imagine that she would start a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Lifetime Animal Project’s Chloe Arrington told Dodo, that Coco was a lost pet and was being taken care of by a community worker for weeks.
The search for the dog’s family came unsuccessful and the dog ended up in a foster family, however, they couldn’t adopt the dog permanently. According to Arrington, the dog returned to the shelter and was waiting for its new owners who would adopt her permanently. And that’s what happened.
The new owners of the dog work in the entertainment industry and the dog ended up landing a leading role in “Prey” on Hulu.
According to Arrington, she is very happy for the dog and in her opinion, Coco will land other jobs in the future as she is a young and active dog.
According to a post from the animal shelter’s Facebook page, Coco originally had a little part in the movie, however, due to her popularity with the screening audiences, the director gave her a larger role.
The article also stated that the story of Coco is proof that “the additional care and patience paid off” and that her story will stand as an example to find the potential in other shelter dogs and what they are capable of when given a chance.
