This dog can’t live without her travel pillow.🤗🤗
Nali’s owners found her via Craigslist for free, however, after bringing her home they discovered that she is deaf and didn’t want to keep the dog. Before they took her to the shelter, she was kept outside and that’s how Dharma Lorenz located her and became her new mother.
Lorenz said that when she saw the dog, she knew she has to take care of her. The dog was terrified and miserable; however, she still managed to wag her tail and mustered the courage to go to Lorenz.
When she came to her new home, she turned for help to her sister Amba and she assured her that she is safe now. However, she still needed reassurance, and this is when she was given the travel cushion.
Lorenz revealed that she just came home from a two-week travel and that’s when the dog found the pillow and carried it with her everywhere as if it was a way to reassure her of safety.
The travel cushion helped her to not feel alone and became the dog’s companion through anything.
She took the cushion everywhere with her even to the vet. Until she realized that someone else had a greater need for it than she did.
At the animal shelter, Lorenz came across another dog named Satchi, who was just like Nali, needed her assistance, and was deaf and afraid.
She says that the dog wouldn’t come out of his cubby and was terrified and frightened. She says that when he was at the shelter no one paid attention to him. Before he was about to be put down, she adopted him.
After the dog came home, he had the same look on his face that Nali had when she first met Amba. Nali assisted the dog and helped him to get over his fears and anxiety and then granted him the biggest gift.
Lorenz revealed that one day they were playing with the cushion and suddenly Nali let go of it as if handing it to Satchi. It was as if the cushion had completed its task for Nali and it was now time for another dog.
Now that when the dog is nervous or anxious, he brings the travel pillow to bed with him and keeps it in the vehicle with him as well. Nali gave it to him hoping that it will help him the way it did for her.
