The public’s fascination with celebrity lawsuits isn’t about to wane, especially with the ongoing interest in Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s legal battles.

Gwyneth Paltrow’s lawsuit against Terry Sanderson has also been heavily discussed online in recent weeks.

Here what was the case: the 76-year-old retired ophthalmologist accused the actress of colliding with him on a ski slope and allegedly leaving him in the snow.

Terry initially sought a substantial $3.1 million in compensation from Gwyneth. Yet the actress proved she is not guilty and filed a counterclaim.

As a result, the ophthalmologist sued and reduced the compensation claim to $300,000.

The trial began on March 21 with daily sessions. It is noteworthy that Gwyneth personally attended each of them.

The jury reached its final verdict, clearing all charges against Paltrow last Thursday, after several hours of hearing.

After the judge’s announcement, Gwyneth approached Terry and expressed her good wishes, for which he thanked her.

It is noteworthy that Paltrow explained why she chose to personally attend court hearings, and not just settle the required amount.

“I felt that agreeing to the settlement agreement would confirm the false accusations against me. It will jeopardize my integrity. I am pleased with the result and thank the judge and jury for their conscientious attitude to the case. I am grateful for their attentiveness”, Gwyneth stated.
