When the 73-year-old Richard Gere planned a trip to the sea with his wife Alejandra Silva and the children, he, of course, had no idea how this trip would turn out for their family.

A trip to Mexico was conceived by Gere to celebrate his wife’s birthday there.
After all, Alejandra, who is more than 30 years younger than her husband, turned 40 this year.
Before flying to the place of rest, Richard began to cough a little, but the actor decided not to pay attention to it.
However, when they arrived at the place, the weight began to feel worse and worse. He was shaking the bouts of cough, and when the temperature rose, Alejandra insisted on hospitalization.
In the hospital, where Richard was delivered, doctors immediately diagnosed him with pneumonia, a sufficiently serious disease for any person, and after 70 years even more serious.
Fortunately, the treatment was not started too late, and after the course of potent antibiotics, Gere became better. Now, according to Alejandra, he is already recovering.
However, the actor’s illness was not the only trouble that spoiled the rest. Apparently, Richard’s disease was contagious, so Silva and their children fell ill after him.
However, both Alejandra and the sons of the actor were sick in a much easier form.
