It’s common that cats and dogs can never be friends, but not in this case.
Great Dane Bagheera found himself surrounded by tiny kittens and he knew exactly how to take care of them. When we hear the expression “two people are like cats and dogs,” we immediately imagine them fighting.
It is common knowledge that cats and dogs can never be friends, let alone be together in peace. But Great Dane Bagheera and a litter of tiny fluffy kittens defied that stereotype and showed the world just how gentle, sweet and wonderful cats are. Bagheera is a massive black Great Dane with a glossy coat and gentle demeanor. He was lying on the floor when several tiny fluffy balls suddenly surrounded him.
These were very small kittens who were just beginning to explore the world and were amazed by the huge size of Bagheera. Therefore, they tumbled and rolled towards him, running and staggering, marveling at his long legs and huge growth.
Bagheera could simply push them away, or worse, beat them with his massive paws or use his powerful jaws on them. The kittens were so frail they didn’t stand a chance. But none of this happened! Then he lifted his massive paw and gently caressed the tiny plump head.
He did so well that the cat mom only checked on him once and then relaxed knowing her precious babies were safe in Bagheera’s giant but safe paws.
