The well-known singer has unfortunately been diagnosed with stiff-person syndrome, however, that didnât stop her from making new music. The new song is called âLove Againâ, which will feature in the movie with the same name. The news was posted by her team on Instagram. The movie comes out on May 5, while on May 12, the fans of the singer can wait for five new songs in a whole album.
In the movie, Dion will make her debut appearance as an actress. The singer revealed that she had lots of fun making the new music, which is her first album since 2019.
The 55-year-old has reflected on how difficult it was with dealing with her health problems in a video released back in December. She opened up on how the health problems affect her daily life, as it causes problems to her vocal cords and sometimes even with just walking.
She revealed that her struggles are eased as she is being taken care of by great doctors and the love and support from her family. Dion said that singing is the only thing she knows and that has been a huge part of her life. The singer is heartbroken that she canât perform in front of her fans due to her health problems and she is focused on her recovery.
