Baby Foal takes refuge inside a giant teddy bear after his mother’s rejection

The huge teddy bear and rescued foal had the best relationship.

Breeze was given up by his mother shortly after birth. A farmer found a little pony and they reported it to a shelter in Devon, UK. When the rescue team arrived on the scene, the newborn foal was in a terrible, uncomfortable condition. He was dehydrated, and everyone feared that the worst thing might happen.

However, things began to look better once they took him to the orphanage because it seemed that the little child had received the comfort he needed. And this was not given to him by an employee or a foster mother; rather, his guardians gave it to him in the form of a huge teddy bear.

Unfortunately, according to Sira Bowden, the orphanage’s executive director, young Breeze’s mother is not around to keep him company. It was nice to watch him interact with his new bears and snuggle up to them before bed. They offer him excellent company and comfort during the limited time when his guardians are absent.

It seems that the orphanage often offers toy animals for orphans.

“We always provide a huge soft toy as a companion for our orphaned foals,” said Bowden. In the way it soothes them, they are like newborns. That seems to be quite effective!

After several weeks, during which he was given special milk formula and appropriate medications, Breeze is now feeling way too better. Also, his teddy bear friend is to blame. According to Bowden, he is getting bigger and stronger very quickly. He just started playing, he likes to be under the Sun and he is not afraid of anything.
