The 27-year-old actress told Buzzfeed that she found herself watching movies of her now costar Jack Black at school every Friday. She also admitted that she was starstruck while doing press for the new animated movie Mario Bros with Black. The actress revealed that she didn’t know much English at that time and several movies along with “School of Rock” helped her in learning the language.
The 27-year-old also revealed that she sings the song Tribute which was written by Black, as karaoke. During the interview, she stated that due to their parts in the animated movie, they didn’t meet and that’s why she felt starstruck when she saw the schedule of the press tour.
Before moving to live in London, the actress grew up in Argentina and she refused to learn English for two years, in hopes that her family will return back to Argentina.
Reflecting back on the time when she was a child, the actress recalls that it was difficult but she is very thankful to have overcome it and call both places her home.
The talented actress has been in many English movies despite the fact that she is fluent in Spanish and has stated that she would be very happy to collaborate with Spanish-speaking directors.
