This man distracted on his way but it was well worth it when he saved a cat.
Dan Yavetz was heading to the bank in Silver Spring, Maryland when he got distracted inside.
Yavetz told The Dodo about this. “I heard this quiet meow from under the cars parked in front of the bank”. “When I came down, I noticed a hidden kitten and called him.
Surprisingly, he ran out the door and jumped into my arms. Instead of cheering him up and working on him, he immediately ran out, and I grabbed him, and he began to purr, and he was very comfortable, ” Yavetz recalled.
Yavetz imagined that the cute cat had escaped from the mall’s veterinary clinic and began to pull him out. “I stopped by and asked. ’Who misses the cat?’” Yavetz said.
Veterinarians scanned the kitten for a microchip, but when nothing was found, Yavetz took the kitten back to her auto shop and gas station to end the day.
Javetz described him as “absolutely a road cat”. “He sat in the passenger seat on my shoulder on the way home”. “Really great, not nervous at all, just full of love and enthusiasm.”
Yavetz felt that he needed to find a family for the kitten, since he already had two cats at home. But he got close to him.
It was then that he found the perfect solution. The family of her 8-year-old daughter’s best friend wanted a cat.
