A defenseless and sad dog was seen huddled in a chair in hopes of his family coming back and taking him. He didnât know that his owners had left him behind.
Sharon Norton, an officer of the local animal control department, heard about the dog and came to help him. It seemed like, the owners had left some stuff behind including the dog.
He was very tiny and when he was offered food by the lady, he was relieved.
However, the dog turned down the offer of assistance as he was hoping that if he waited, his owner would show up.
However, after some time, she earned his trust and took him in the vehicle. After which they went to the vet, he got all the examinations and medicine that he needed and then was taken to Brookhaven Animal Rescue League.
The dog will remain at the rescue center for as long as he gets adopted by a loving and caring family that will never abandon him.
