There are a number of dogs in the shelter who are waiting to be adopted. Usually, puppies get adopted earlier than older and larger dogs as they are considered to be hostile. However, that is not usually true. Especially not with Peteyâs case. The dog got adopted after a year having spent at the shelter and he couldnât be happier about it. His new family shared a photo of the dog sleeping with a smile on his face.
Having spent a year at the shelter which was overcrowded, the staff got in touch with the Wake County SPCA to help them find a permanent place for the dog. SPCAâs Samantha Ranlet spoke out and said that the dog was very friendly and it was a mystery how he didnât get adopted earlier.
The staff members shared a photo of the dog and announced that he was adopted. The new owners saw his photo online and fell in love and wanted to adopt him right away.
One of the members of the family shared a photo of the dog and said that he is settling in nicely. He loves to play and is a great addition to the team. He added that he is very happy to have the dog.
